About Us

After over 25 years in the industry managing wildlife, game and deer we've many a story to tell.  

Based in the north Cotswolds area with up to  3000 acres of stalking land at anyone time to manage and increasing weekly.  Our philosophy is one that the deer always comes first.  We aim to keep a healthy balance.  We act as the apex predator that once hunted them and kept their numbers in check.  The motor car has become just that!  Not only does it take the animals life, but more often it injures the animal for it to die of shock or its wounds hours or days later.  Even a non hunting individual must agree that this is a tragic waste. That animal could have died humanly in a control situation by someone who respects and appreciates nature's beauty.  The rifle person, would of harvested the animal carefully allowing a celebrate of its  life by feeding their family and friends.  With the ever increasing expenses to produce food the emphasis should be on reducing costs wherever possible.  Deer cause a considerable amount of damage to trees, crops and vegetable plantations.  It's very simple,  by controlling the numbers on the ground we are able to reduce the damage.  

Let's reduce the waste!  How many dead deer do we see littered along the roadside.  how many deer do we see caught in fencing.  Theses deer could and should serve a purpose. 

No permissible venison taken by Cotswolds Stalking is wasted.  We provide venison to local game dealers for resale in to restaurants and pubs.  If a client would like to take an animal or part there of we can butcher and breakdown a carcass.  

Stalking is growing at an exponential rate and we aim to help support all those who enter in to the activity.  With 25 years of stalking behind us we find ourselves still learning to this day,  evolving to meet the standards necessary carry out or service to the very best of our abilities.  We'll continue to support landowners, stalkers and those who love deer, to ensure that the stock remains in a healthy condition.
